the holidays are coming and you know what that means, time to bust out your holiday scented candles. i am someone who is very particular about her holiday scents. i don't want my house smelling like a food. so that means no gingerbread, no spiced apple, no winter white vanilla. but i do really like the more evergreen, woodsy scents. i saw this snow on cedar candle at anthropologie and took a whiff and i've found my holiday candle! the packaging is super cute and festive too.

I love candles that smell like food! Ha! I adore the evergreen and pine scents around the holiday though as well. Carrie picked up the roasted chestnut version at Anthro in Georgetown. So yummy!

the new store in ballard, the field house, has really awesome (and expensive) candles. one of them is fresh laundry. i would never buy one (at $75 a pop) but it was fun smelling each one.
