i still can't believe i went to fashion week. it was an incredible, amazing experience and i feel so lucky i was able to go. i was there to help one of the sponsors, bottled frappuccino, cover the event so i spent most of my time working on my project. {check out my work at www.frappuccino.com} but i had some fun too. so without further ado, here is my recap:
stayed - empire hotel {aka the gossip girl.} loved my cutie room where they 'turned down' the bed every night and left me a new york classic black and white cookie every night.

shows:
caught the celebrity red dress show. suzanne somers and patti labelle were my favorites!

{densie richards, she's been through the ringer lately!}
{allison sweeny from the biggest loser}
other shows seen but didn't take photos b/c of where my seats were:
:: bcbg max azria - loved the dresses but hated the turtlenecks paired with them. they took away from the beauty of them.
:: academy of art student show
:: tracy reese (sat behind julia stiles and gabrille union}
:: pamela rolland
:: badgley mischka
:: narciso rodriguez {this was my favorite show. it was the most cohesive.}
{most of the photos turned out like this}

{or this}
{that's 'i'm not always there when you call, but i'm always on time' ashanti in the bun and red scarf.}
went backstage {CRAZINESS} at: rebecca taylor, rebecca minkoff, tracy reese and milly
{backstage at tracy reese}
had many drinks at the empire hotel lobby. also ate at rosa mexicana, beauty and essex, ed's chowder house, had an amazing banh mi sandwich at siagon vietnamese sandwich deli, barbuto {top chef master johnathan waxman's restaurant and my personal fave of the trip} stanton social, dos caminos and my new fave sweet spot - momofuku's milk bar {more to come on that.}

{lots of food at barbuto. do the tasting menu}
{chandelier at beauty and essex}
spent lots of time with our frappuccino team and our amazing correspondent amanda garrigus.

{amanda talking to kelly rutherford aka the mom form gossip girl. she looks way younger in real life.}
i saw a million celebrities. everyone from luanne and sonja from real housewives of nyc to jerry seinfeld. i almost ran smack-dab into ramona singer from real housewives of new york and grace coddington my favorite creative director at vogue. {separate occasions, they weren't together.} and be still my heart when i saw andy cohen in person. i chickened out and didn't go get a photo with him. i was more stalker-like and took it from far away.

never in a million years did i think i would get to go to something like this. it was so much fun. i loved spending so much time in my favorite city. i can't wait to go back. love you, nyc.
