on saturday the mother-of-all-trades threw a wedding shower for one of my oldest friends, laura. naturally i baked for the occasion - chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and dyed pink to match the bride's save-the-dates. {the photos were taken with my iphone so they aren't the best but i tried to give them a little treatment with instagram.}
my mom did such a good job with the shower. she served our family favorite green chile quiche and the barefoot contessa's gazpacho. no detail was overlooked and the pink theme was everywhere! here is her cute table. the two glass vases are filled with bright pink, light pink and white malted milk balls {note to self to steal this idea for the future!}
we drank pinot grigio with raspberries in it to keep that pink theme going! i'm not normally a white wine drinker but i really enjoyed this!
