i cleaned out my medicine cabinet the other day and noticed how many of my beauty products are either on the expensive side or rather cheap. funny how the works, right?
here are my beauty highs:
oribe dry texturing hair spray :: i love adding a spritz or two of this stuff to freshly washed hair. it give my straight, fine hair great texture without weighing it down.
kerastase resistance age recharge lipo-replenishing shampoo :: i have super greasy hair. it's so greasy i probably should wash it twice a day. (not joking) i've found this shampoo really cleans my hair and keeps the grease away.
la mer cream :: this stuff costs and arm and a leg but it last a long time, about 1 oz. per year. it's made a huge difference in my skin and i truly think it's worth it.
clarnis total eye concentrate :: i tried a sample of this eye cream and decided to take the plunge and buy a full bottle. i'm hoping it will keep the skin below my eyes moisturized and youthful!
bkr glass water bottle :: drinking water is the real secret beauty product! i swear it's the best thing you can do for yourself. and drinking from a cute water bottle makes it even more enjoyable to get those 8 glasses of h2o a day!
the lows:
batiste dry shampoo :: see above about my greasy hair...so i've become a real dry shampoo expert. and out of all the brands i've tried this is my favorite. it's the perfect 'day two' product to freshen your locks and keeps the grease away.
cerave moisturizing lotion :: i'm not a lotion expert at all. i honestly forget to put it on most days. but when i do this is what i use. it's a great moisturizer and i like that it doesn't have a strong smell.
la roche-posay anthelios daily moisturizing cream spf 15 :: i basically started using this moisturizer because every dematologist and beauty expert says to use this. it's always ranked as the best spf and i concur!
l'oreal paris everpure volume conditioner :: i tried this contitioner a few years ago and found it worked really well. plus this smells really yummy - rosemarry and mint!
l'oreal paris elnett satin hairspray :: this hairspray is a classic and i've found it works really well. it smells really good too and you can't beat the cool retro packaging too!
dr. bronner's magic soaps :: i love this soap because it's super gentle on my skin and doesn't dry it out. i use the unscented baby version because i don't like too many conflicting scents.
any beauty highs or lows i need to try?
